Charateristics
The surface is covered in carbon-rich substances. It is dark and red in colour, possibly caused by organic compounds or nanophase ions. 28 periodic elements have been identified. Certain elements are unidentifiable. Infrared images suggest a thick outer coating that could thermally insulate the interior. There is potential for microorganisms or a unicellular system underneath the surface.
